Team Folders are shared between many users within an organization and are great way for your teams to collaborate on documents. Many businesses like to have Team Folders set up for each department in their company - for example one for marketing, one for finance, one for sales. With the Livedrive Business Account, you may set up an unlimited amount of Team Folders.

To manage your Team Folders, log in to your Business Account Admin Portal and go to the Team Folders tab. You will note that that there are already two pre-configured Team Folders, Internal and Public. From the Team Folders tab you are able to perform the following;

  • Add / Delete Team Folders.
  • View statistics and edit folder settings i.e. Space Quota, add or remove user access to folders and set permissions.
  • View Team Folder in your personal Livedrive web portal.

Once a Team Folder has been created and allocated to users, it will appear a few seconds later in the Team Folders section of their Briefcase drive and in the Team Folders section of their web portal. If the user has Read/Write access then they can instantly start adding new files.
